There are more than a few familiar faces on the new season of Married At First Sight. One of the grooms, in particular, stands out among the rest because he’s already been on a reality romance show.

Dino Hira might be looking to find a ‘wife’ on season six of MAFS, but he was previously seen looking for a date on reality series First Dates in 2018.

Dino is just one of many familiar faces appearing on MAFS this season.

Dino, 34, changed his life after a broken engagement left him shattered. He turned to meditation and never looked back, currently working as a meditation coach. He’s also tried his hand at modelling and pageants, taking out the title of ‘Mr Australasia.’

During his stint on First Dates, Dino tried hard to show his date all of these different elements that make up his life… but he may have been trying a little too hard on the memorable date.

He brought along his Mr Australasia trophy, he tried to teach his date about ‘gratitude salt,’ and he awkwardly grabbed her hands for way too long in an effort to better connect. He also asked her to dance (in the silent restaurant, with no music playing) and asked if she liked cuddling during one particularly quiet moment.

For Kahla, his blind date, Dino’s excitement and unique first impression turned out to be too much…

There was no second date, but viewers were more than happy to share their thoughts on Dino’s out-there dating style on social media.

Though he was unlucky in love on First Dates, Dino is hoping his second chance at reality romance will find him ‘the one.’

Let’s just hope the Married At First Sight love experts have paired him with the perfect woman.
