Loved-up Married at First Sight bride Sarah Roza is rarely seen without a full face of make-up. “It’s my armour,” she says. But she’s bravely opted to try a make-under – and the results she exclusively shares with OK! are simply stunning!

“I’ve never been with a man who told me I was beautiful without make-up, so I’ve always felt like I have to present ‘the whole package,'” admits Sarah, 39.
But her MAFS hubby Telv Williams, 33, loves Sarah for who she is. “He makes me feel sexy either way.”
Why is make-up so important to you?
“I know not everyone will want to do what I want to do, but for me, putting on a full face of make-up is like brushing my teeth. Some people will look at what I do and be like, ‘Oh my gosh, how could you be bothered doing that much make-up and your hair every day?’ But I’ve done it for so long now, I don’t know any other way.”
When did you first fall in love with being a glamour girl?
“My mum passed away when I was 19 and one of my favourite memories of her was that she was always beautifully made up, it was just how she always was. She wouldn’t go down to the milk bar without the whole kit on. It wasn’t that she was ugly or needed to hide, it was her way of having fun.”
You’ve mentioned that Telv likes you with or without make-up. What have your previous partners thought of your look?
“All my other boyfriends – and my ex-husband – always wanted and expected the complete look. They wanted me to have the hair, the make-up and everything done. They apparently didn’t find me sexy if I was make-up-free. Now that I’m married to Telv, I go to bed with no make-up on, my hair’s up in a nanna bun and I’m sipping on a cup of tea, full daggy nanna style, and Telv will look across and say, ‘Oh you’re so beautiful,’ and I seriously feel like crying. I could have sleep in my eye, drool hanging off my face and he makes me feel really sexy and womanly because he takes me for who I am. I’ve never been with someone who made me feel so special or beautiful – no matter what I look like. It’s a bit strange, but I’m loving it.”
You’re still keen on your cosmetic tweaks, though?
“Of course! I love botox. Who doesn’t love botox? If you haven’t tried it, go get some!”
