Married At First Sight‘s OnlyFans photo scandal is continuing to shock the show’s alumni.
Season six bride Cyrell Paule has now thrown her opinion into the mix, blasting former co-star Michael Brunelli for his criticisms of Olivia Frazer.
During Sunday night’s explosive commitment ceremony, Olivia brazenly revealed she doesn’t have “empathy” for her arch nemesis Domenica Calarco after circulating her nude OnlyFans photos to the group.
Michael, a former teacher-turned-personal trainer, blasted Olivia, who is studying to become a high school English teacher, for her lack of “emotional intelligence”.
“Me, a former teacher, trying to figure out how someone who doesn’t have the emotional intelligence to feel empathy wants to become a teacher,” Michael wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself looking perplexed.
Michael’s fiancée Martha Kalifatidis also took aim at Olivia while watching the episode unfold, saying: “This drink is so good, the chilli is everything. But Olivia is ruining the f–king effects because I’m not calm watching this.”
The following night, Cyrell, who infamously feuded with Martha and Michael during the show’s sixth season, took to her own Instagram to share her thoughts.
“Says the guy who also showed absolutely no emotional intelligence to feel empathy when his partner and himself were aware that people were being cheated on,” Cyrell wrote, referencing Jessika Power’s cheating scandal with Dan Webb behind Mick Gould’s back.
“Wouldn’t be such a hypocrite there ex-teacher. Before you point your finger, make sure your hand is clean.”
The mother-of-one went on to make it clear she was in no way defending Olivia’s behaviour.
“My point being I hate hypocrites. The both of you being school teachers, you would think you would both know what BULLYING is!” she continued.
“Neither of you show any attributes or qualities that a REAL teacher should be teaching their pupils. So to put to an end. Olivia this does not make us friends. Michael you’re a hypocrite.”
Cyrell, Michael and Martha’s remarks come after season eight “villain” Bryce Ruthven jumped to Olivia’s defence. Bryce, who rose to infamy on the 2021 season, claimed that drama-hungry producers were the catalyst for the entire OnlyFans scandal.
While watching last week’s dinner party at home, Bryce took to Instagram to say: “I seem to recall going to a particular dinner party where I had everyone attacking myself over a forced producer act that led to some of the worst acting seen on TV.
“According to expert John [Aiken].. acceptable behaviour in 2021. Not acceptable in 2022. Go figure?! All tonight’s show is missing is Dion’s edited voiceover again.”
