They were one of the most controversial couples to come out of this season of Married At First Sight, but Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes have managed to make it work on the outside world.
After meeting on the show while they were still “married” to other people, Daniel and Carolina struck up a connection and started their own relationship.
In the months since the show wrapped, the pair are still very much together, and happily it seems, with a constant stream of relationship updates shared to social media.
On Sunday night, Carolina took to her Instagram Stories to answer several questions from her 129k followers, who were eager to know more about her current relationship status with Daniel.
One of the questions was about whether or not the couple fights often, and the pair had a cheeky response.
“No, obviously not, we never fight – how could you fight with him?” Carolina quipped, while Daniel added: “How could you fight with a Brazilian?”
“We fight all the f–king time,” the former bride said, before adding that she was “joking.”
“We obviously fight, we are a real couple, but then Daniel apologises and everything is fine,” she laughed, before once again adding that it was just “jokes”.
As more questions were answered, Carolina revealed that Daniel had moved to Sydney to be with her, and she also addressed their future engagement plans.
“When is [Daniel] proposing to you?” one fan asked.
“I don’t know hey, it better be soon,” she said to the camera. “Daniel, you tell them baby.”
In one of the clips, Carolina also panned to her 16-year-old son Bruno, who she said was “smart enough” to know that MAFS was “just a TV show”.
When a fan asked what he thought of the show, Carolina said: “He thinks it’s funny, he knows it’s just a TV show, he’s a very mature boy and he supports his mummy.”
It seems that Carolina and Daniel have no regrets about their time in the experiment, and the pair couldn’t seem happier together.
Shortly after regaining control of his Instagram account, Daniel revealed as such when he shared a carousel of images of the couple and wrote: “What a ride! Let the next chapter begin.”
And, if Carolina’s answer is any clear indication, it seems that walking down the aisle is something they would consider – this time with each other.
