Married At First Sight stars Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson have been living the loved-up dream since leaving the reality TV show.
Engaged and expecting twins, the happy couple are living blissfully in their baby bubble.
The couple recently shared a 20-week update with fans, revealing they had received the results of their Harmony Test – a pre-screening blood test, also known as the NIPT, which tests for chromosomal abnormalities and can also detect the gender.
With twins on the way, Bryce and Melissa were thrilled to learn the gender – though, at first, their doctors were unable to give them an answer for both babies.
“We found out the gender of one of the twins… but couldn’t get a definitive result for the other. Has this happened to you?” Bryce wrote on his Instagram page last week, where plenty of twin-parents also commented their own similar experiences.

(Image: Instagram)Now, however, the pair have managed to lock in the answer, sharing an exciting update on their Instagram accounts on Friday.
After teasing their “gender reveal” earlier in the week, Bryce and Melissa shared a video as they excitedly opened up cannons to reveal vibrant blue smoke.
Looks like twin boys are on the way for the happy couple!
“So excited to meet our two babies! Bring on December,” Bryce captioned his video.
Their fellow MAFS stars were eager to celebrate the results, taking to the comments to congratulate their co-stars on the reveal.
“Congrats! Stoked for you both,” wrote Booka Nile, with Jake Edwards adding “Congrats guys!” alongside a love heart emoji.
“My man! So happy for you and Liss!” wrote fellow reality TV star Jamie Doran. “Exciting times ahead!”
The exciting announcement comes after the couple added to their growing family on the weekend, adopting a nine-week-old Border Collie on Thursday, also known as International Dog Day.
“We’re celebrating #InternationalDogDay and would like you to meet someone very special,” Bryce wrote on Instagram.
“Meet Sonny! Our 9 week old Border Collie we adopted as he needed to find a new home. Named after his bright personality, this gorgeous little boy is now part of our soon to be family,” he continued.
“He has a gorgeous personality, cuddles the babies already, and is a loving part of our soon to be family of 5,” adds Melissa.
It hasn’t been the easiest road to romance for this Married At First Sight duo, facing plenty of criticism from fans thanks to their on-screen drama.
Away from the cameras, the pair say they’re happier than ever.
“We’d already been married on the show and, with our relationship getting stronger, this just felt like the logical next step,” Mel told New Idea of their happy news.
“We’re not doing this for anybody else, it’s about us – we’re cementing our love,” Bryce told the publication. “Melissa deserves to be happy and I’m apparently very good at that, so I’m looking forward to making it all official.”

(Image: Instagram)Once the twins are born, the couple will get back to wedding planning. When Melissa walks down the aisle for real, she says it will be much more low-key than their on-screen nuptials.
“I’ll have two babies by the time I walk down the aisle,” she said of their plans, which will include some of their MAFS co-stars.
“I’m still close to Jason, he’ll be there,” says Bryce, “and Cameron, Russell and James … we’ll see.”
