Australia received a very exciting text on Sunday morning, with the cast of Love Island Australia 2019 being revealed!
As host Sophie Monk tells, the contestants signing on for the second season are “very diverse in every area, from religion to education to occupation to race — everything. So it’ll be very interesting”.
After the first season of Love Island Australia aired all the way from Majorca, Spain, this year the 11 singles are jetting off to Fiji, where they’ll eventually be joined in the villa by new islanders set to test their relationships. Screening from Monday to Friday, each episode of the show will air within 24 hours of being filmed!
For the uninitiated, the Love Island singles couple up in the hopes of winning love – and the approval of the public. At the end of the series, the winning couple (as voted by the public) is handed a pot of money to start their new lives together, but there’s a catch: one is given the chance to share the money or walk away with it all for themselves. Will they take the money and walk away, or stay with their ‘one true love’?
Of course, the big question fans want to know in the lead up to the premiere is, where can they follow the stars on Instagram?
