Some couplings were simply friends, others were betrayed, with even fewer finding a true love match. Three couples made it to the Love Island grand finale, Zac and Lucinda; Tyra and Kale; Savanah and Clint.

Although they made it to the end, they weren’t the only couples to leave the villa hand in hand. To declare the 2023 winner, the super fans made some cuts with Reid and Chloe; and Nate and Georgia saying goodbye.

With Love Island Australia 2023 officially at its end, we have investigated which couples are still together in the outside world.

ZAC & LUCINDA

There seems to be no separating lovebirds Zac and Lucinda. The biggest issue in their relationship however could be long distance given Lucinda resides in the UK, while Zac is a kiwi living in Australia.

Prior to Love Island’s end, the pair revealed they would be visiting each other’s hometowns. Zac and Lucinda did keep their promise as images obtained by the Daily Mail caught the pair together in the UK.

As for how their relationship is progressing, fans may have to wait until they regain access to their personal social media accounts.

TYRA & KALE

A love story unlike any other in the villa, Kale was eliminated after his first choice Nakia recoupled with another bombshell. He returned to Love Island after admitting he regretted not chasing after a different girl.

Tyra happily chose to recouple with Kale, and they entered the villa together after a romantic first date. Since this decision, the pair were inseparable and even the super fans couldn’t deny their love as they voted Kale and Tyra the winners of Love Island Australia.

CLINT & SAVANAH

CLINT & SAVANAH

This love story is a short one after bombshell Clint entered the villa rather late in the season.

For his first date, Clint selected Savanah and have hit it off ever since. The super fans even chose their connection over other couples that were together longer. We can only wonder what their relationship inside the villa would have amounted to.

After their time in the villa came to an end, the pair discussed long distance but after knowing only each other for ten days, they decided to end the relationship.

“It just didn’t work out. I was like ‘we could technically keep it going and we could travel to meet each other… I just don’t know if that’s something either of us would do in the real world’,” she told TV WEEK.

“But really realistically – Clint came in really late – we’d known each other for ten days.

“We’re really good mates and we still talk but it just didn’t really progress.”

Although Reid and Chloe didn’t make it to the final three couples in Love Island, the pair were building the foundations of a solid relationship.

During the finale, the pair appeared to still be loved up.

NATE & GEORGIA

NATE & GEORGIA

The super fans questioned the bonds between Nate and Georgia. During the villa they had tense conversations about how their relationship would work in the outside world, and while these issues were resolved – there remained some differences.

Nate also confessed during the grand finale that he would take $20,000 in prize money at the cost of going home – split 50/50 with Georgia.

“I mean to be honest, we’d be sitting in the same situation we’re in now,” he said.

“Sounds a bit suspicious,” Georgia nervously laughs.

Despite this, the pair were affectionate during the final so we can presume the pair are still together.
