After taking a break due to the pandemic, Love Island Australia returned to our screens this year with a bang. Shock eliminations, brutal splits, and one of the wildest Casa Amor moments the franchise has ever seen, this season certainly delivered on the drama.
It also delivered on the true love stories, as cute couples with even cuter couple names like TITCH and JAARON formed in the Love Island Villa.
Mitch and Tina were crowned the winners of Love Island Australia, and not only left with a new partner but also a share in $50,000.
But, which couples are committed on the outside? Scroll through to find out which season three couples are still together.
Tina and Mitch
Tina and Mitch left the show in love, but also walked away with $50,000 after being crowned the winners of Love Island Australia season three.
They survived being apart during Casa Amor, both remaining loyal to each other, and have since gone from strength to strength, with Mitch asking Tina to be his (first) girlfriend in the final week, leading to a lot of happy tears being shed.
Tina resides in Sydney, while Mitch is a Melbourne boy, meaning the couple had a lot to navigate as they continue their relationship on the outside.
Unfortunately, by February 2022, these two announced their spilt a day after Valentine’s Day.
Tina broke the sad news on her Instagram stories by writing, “This is difficult for me as my instinct is to deal with this in private. However, I have been living a very public life, and for that reason, I want to speak openly on here so that I never have to address it on the internet again.
“It’s with a very sad, heavy heart that I tell you guys, Mitch and I are no longer together. I’m so devastated to be sharing this news with you and I am still processing the situation. Sadly, this was not our time and we agreed that the best decision for us right now is to part ways.”
She continued to reveal that she’s “absolutely shattered,” but ultimately, she leaves the relationship without regrets.
“I put everything I had into our relationship, I wore my heart on my sleeve,” she shared. “What an incredible and unforgettable journey to share with such a special person.”
Mitch also posted a message on his stories, and he wrote, “It’s obviously extremely shattering and a very emotional time for both of us,” he wrote.
“We shared an experience that I will never forget and we both have agreed to still stay in contact and be in each other’s lives as best as we possibly can. I am Tina’s biggest supporter and always will be. She is such an amazing person who I could not speak more highly of.”
Noah & Courtney
Our sincere apologies to any COAH fans out there, but Courtney confirmed last year that she is not in an exclusive relationship with Noah. The duo were eliminated from the show right before the finale after a rocky road to romance when Noah entered the Villa as a bomb.
Courtney admitted that doing long distance – with border closures between Australian states – appeared to have been their undoing.
“I live on the Gold Coast and Noah lives in Melbourne,” she said. “We’ve been out of the Villa for about two and a bit weeks and we’ve been texting, and face-timing.
“I think so highly of him. But we have such a fragile, new connection and unfortunately for us it’s a bit of an awkward situation [with the distance]. We’re still talking and getting to know each other as friends, but at this point in time we are just friends,” she said, adding “I wish” when we confirmed they were not exclusive.
A few days later on November 30, Noah would double down on the news by telling fans they were done.
“I just wanted to confirm, me and Courtney have decided to go our separate ways. I wish her nothing but the best,” he said on Instagram. “She’ll always be a huge part of my life and Love Island journey. I’ll always be there supporting her.”
Taku & Michela
Immediately after leaving the villa, lovebirds Taku and Michela confirmed they were in an exclusive relationship.
“Me and her are exclusive at the moment … I don’t want to see anyone else, and I just really want to see this through,” Taku confirmed to WHO. “We are trying to find our feet at the moment, but so far, so good.”
But sadly, it looks like things might have fizzled for the duo since.
With Taku still regularly posting about “friend island” and not mentioning Michela on his social media, it seemed like things may not have been going well for the duo.
Eagle-eyed fans then noticed that the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram, the ultimate sign of a reality TV split. Kayla also captioned her latest post to say “she’s a keeper,” potentially hinting at being newly single. This is love and splits in the digital age, people.
We’re hopeful these two will work things out, but it’s looking like they may have gone their separate ways.

Ryan & Tayla
Another one bites the dust! Tayla has confirmed she’s no longer with Ryan, announcing the break-up in an Instagram Stories Q&A with her co-stars Ari and Michela.
“No I’m definitely not with him,” she said. “I wish him all the best… but yeah, he is just not my kind of guy. Not my morals.”
“Australia was right, and he definitely proved that. I did actually like him, but I was apprehensive. I did give him the benefit of the doubt, we were going to do a road trip together and I flew to Sydney, but I’ve learnt the hard way…”
It should come as no surprise that the relationship between Ryan and Tayla came to an end. When they left the Villa, it wasn’t exactly all sunshine and rainbows.
However, immediately after leaving the villa the pair planned to give their real-world relationship a red-hot crack.
“We’re just going to take it slow, but we’re definitely still talking and we’ll see where it will all go,” Tayla confirmed to WHO following her elimination.
“At the end of the day, if the connection’s right, you make it work,” Ryan added.
Turns out it simply wasn’t right!
Love Island Australia | Chris and Zoe discuss their relationship
Zoe & Chris
Zoe and Chris were one of the strongest couples to have made it to the finale. But just a month after leaving the villa, the once-happy pair announced they went their separate ways.
“This isn’t easy for Zoe and I, but we feel it best to be honest and upfront to everyone who supports us,” Chris wrote on Instagram
“We have decided that’s it’s best we stay as friends rather then in a relationship. It’s been a long journey filled with nothing but happiness and love. But at the end of the day there’s more to a relationship then just having similar personalities or qualities.”
Zoe shared a similar message, but added that she wasn’t ready for a relationship.
“Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, I have realised that I’m not as ready as I thought I was for a relationship,” she wrote.
“I didn’t realise until being in a healthy loving relationship, that I really do have some past issues that have stuck with me. Chris has done nothing but support me & give me all the love in the world, & I’m so thankful & appreciative of him.”
Zoe and Chris gave their relationship a red hot go in the real world, and posted dozens of loved-up photos to social media since leaving the show. But alas, it wasn’t meant to be!
Aaron and Jess
Aaron may have been thinking about leaving the Villa like a week before the finale, but JAARON appeared to be stronger than ever at the end of the season. Even agreeing to be exclusive after one last romantic rendezvous on the show.
“I haven’t felt a bond like this ever,” Jess told Aaron in the second-last episode. “I am ready to go all in.”
HOWEVER. Following the finale it became clear that Jess and Aaron were no longer loved-up, posting nothing about their relationship while their fellow co-stars shared happy updates. Aaron posted an Instagram Carousel about the amazing time he had on the show but did not include any photos of Jess in his post (she was even missing in group shots).
Jess then confirmed the news on her Instagram Stories, after the cast were seen partying together the first weekend after the finale aired.
“Hey guys, a lot of people have been asking about Aaron and I. Unfortunately we are no longer together,” she wrote. “We both agreed it’s for the best for the both of us. Appreciate all of your love and support.”
In an interview with 9Now, Aaron confirmed the drama that almost saw him leave the Villa – where Jess believed he gave her a “filthy look” when her “boob popped out” – was part of the cause.
“We still had issues seeing eye to eye on a situation in the Villa,” he said. “I wanted to move past it, and at least thought we could grow from it, but there was no real growth there, so I just felt like it was best to part ways.”
Further clarifying on Instagram, Aaron told his followers he had given the relationship his all but it was ultimately time to end things.
“Obviously Jess and I have broken up. In the Villa we obviously went through a rocky stage and had things we were going through, then on the outside the same sort of stuff kept coming up and, for me, that’s not something that I feel like should be coming up,” he said.
“We did spend some time together outside of the Villa. I know a lot of people think we got out of the Villa and went our separate ways but that’s not the case, we were together but unfortunately it just didn’t work out. Sometimes in life things like that happen.
“I put everything I had into it, in the Villa and on the outside, but sometimes you just have to worry about yourself, put yourself first and if it’s not healthy and it’s not doing you well in any sort of way anymore I think it’s best if you just move past it. So that’s what I have done.”
