Fans of Love Island Australia would be forgiven for thinking they’d seen Anna McEvoy on their screens before. Though she’s new to the world of reality TV, she has built up quite the public profile over the last decade.
Anna – who is signed to Chadwick Models – has previously appeared in campaigns for clothing labels, beauty brands, and even appeared on the cover of a wedding magazine. But her appearance in a music video for Aussie hip-hop duo Hilltop Hoods certainly takes the cake.
In 2014, a then 23-year-old Anna was one of two ladies seen pouting and bopping along in the Cosby Sweater music video.
Decked out in an embroidered sweater dress, Anna danced in the video with the Hilltop Hoods, Briggs, Trials, K21 and dancer Mina Imsirovic.
Fresh-faced and rocking longer brunette locks, Anna is unrecognisable in these shots.
Anna, 27, has been modelling for 10 years, and says her unpredictable career choice has been “really fun.”
“It has been an amazing career for me,” Anna tells TV WEEK. “I’ve travelled, done campaigns, I lived in Hong Kong for 3 months. I’ve done shoots all over Australia. I’ve been in music videos. It’s been fun.”
Along with modelling, Anna has competed in Miss Universe Australia and Miss World Australia, where she placed in the top 10 and top 5 respectively.
The reality TV contestant says her chosen profession has prepared her for the romantic ups and downs of Love Island.
“I think it makes you have a really thick skin. I can take criticism really well and I don’t take things to heart too much which I think will be good for the show, hopefully.
“Modelling is full of rejection. I’m used to that. I can deal with it.”

Of course, Anna isn’t at any real risk of heartbreak on the show right now.
The blonde beauty is happily coupled up with Josh Packham in the villa.
