Forget the couples – the strongest bond formed on Love Island Australia 2018 was the friendship between Justin Lacko, Tayla Damir and Millie Fuller.

But Justin, who is now in the I’m A Celeb jungle, admits things between him and Tayla quickly turned sour once she started to date their co-star, Dom Thomas.

“I had a fall out with Dom,” Justin tells TV WEEK.

“He and Tayla came down to Melbourne for Fashion Week and I’d organised their accommodation. But we got into this really immature situation. They’d invited me back to their hotel to have some drinks, and afterwards Tayla messaged me saying I owed Dom money for the alcohol.

“I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?!’ I had organised their accommodation! And if I’d invited anyone back to my place, I’m the type of person who would pay for it [the alcohol]. That’s what friends do,” Justin says.

“I ended up telling them to get f—ed. I actually found it insulting.”

Justin says he’s no longer friends with Tayla and Dom (Image: Instagram).

Fortunately, Justin and Millie are still close.

When Justin entered the jungle, Millie was quick to show her support for the model.

“Go get em @justinlacko ! So excited to see you kill it in the jungle!,” she wrote on Instagram. “So incredibly proud of you can’t wait to see you be your crazy funny wacky self!”

“We’re best friends, we’re so close,” Justin adds.

“She and Mark [Millie’s boyfriend] flew down to Melbourne to say goodbye to me before I left for New York. That’s what friends do. It’s hard to come across good people who value you.

“Tayla is in Tayla’s world, and Dom is in Dom’s world. They need to grow up”.
