He hinted he was heading into the jungle on Instagram last month, and now an insider has confirmed that Love Island bad boy Grant Crapp has already signed on the dotted line for the next series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
In the post, Grant was sitting at a table filled with brekkie foods (YUM) and captioned the pic: “Do you think you could out eat me 😎💪🏼 #ihopethejunglehasthisfood” Hmm.
Yep, while his ex Tayla Damir is taking time out of the reality TV realm to live a quieter life with her new man Dom Thomas, Grant’s all ready to head back onto the small screen.
“He’s keen as mustard,” says a source. “It was pretty much a done deal as soon as he got the call.”
Despite being a Channel Nine star, the source says Grant’s managed to do a deal with Network Ten through production company ITV, which is behind both Love Island and I’m A Celeb.
Back in July, Grant,22, won Australia’s first season of Love Island with then girlfriend Tayla Damir, 21.
The pair, who won 50k, split just two weeks after declaring their undying love for one another due to his secret girlfriend.
Opening up about her decision to sensationally dump Grant, Tayla explained he was simply “too young” for her and trust issues ultimately got the better of them.
“Obviously I’m heartbroken, it was a big shock to the system,” the reality star told the publication, before confirming she broke up with Grant on Wednesday evening.
“I still respect him as a person and I just think he’s young and he’s made a massively bad decision, and didn’t really think of the consequences that maybe a girl would have fallen in love with him, which just happened to be me,” she said.
“Hopefully that’s something he learned through this experience and he learns how to play with people’s emotions.”
“It came out that there were new accusations that Grant had a live-in girlfriend, and he’s gone on the show to promote his business and get famous,” she continued of the infamous secret girlfriend claims.
