They were crowned winners of House Rules in 2018, walking away with a newly renovated home and $355,000 in prize money. So what are NSW country couple Toad and Mandy up to now?
The dairy farmer and beautician, who captured the hearts of Australia, joined the series with the dream of having their 150-year-old country home renovated for their young family. The engaged couple are parents to two-year-old twins Lenny and Layla.
In a new video shared by House Rules, the pair reveal how life has been since they won the reality renovation series.
“We’re still loving our house!” Toad reveals. “We’re blessed to be coming home to such a beautiful home.
“Yeah, I’m tickled pink every time I come home from work. Which is bloody unreal”
“Toad had two days off I think when we got back,” Mandy revealed of their post-show life. “And he went straight back to the farm.
The betrothed couple are still yet to be wed, though it seems like wedding plans are in full swing!
“So, we are now busy planning our wedding and also just raising Lenny and Layla. They’re loving the house.”
The couple have shared many adorable photos and videos of the twins in their new home, helping out with chores in the renovated laundry and giving dad a hand on the farm.
Toad and Mandy still catch up with their House Rules co-stars, earlier this year spending a weekend with brother duo Josh and Brandon.
“We have these two to entertain for the next few days ! Somehow I don’t think that will be hard,” they captioned the Instagram photo. “Adventure here we come”
Also in January the pair caught up with the show’s controversial couple Leigh and Kristie, having a pizza night in their renovated yard (complete with it’s own pizza oven).
“Pizza again tonight! Enjoying seeing @leighandkristie again. We have truly met so many great people through our whole experience on the show. So grateful,” they wrote.
Of course, as the new season approaches, fans have a whole new cast to meet!
