Farmer Wants A Wife has wrapped for 2023, with each of the farmers finding their perfect match after many weeks on the farm.

From sheep wrangling to sunset picnics, this year’s season has seen both the farmers and the ladies take a step out of their comfort zone, with each contestant taking the opportunity to rise to the challenge.

As one of Australia’s most successful dating shows, Farmer Wants A Wife has seen the beginnings of many heartfelt love stories, marriages, and families, with this season being no exception.

Although the cameras have stopped rolling, the connections between the latest crop of farmer couples appear to keep growing stronger by the day.

Brad & Clare

Brad and Clare had quite the slow burn throughout the season, with their love truly beginning to blossom towards the latter half of their time on the show.

Despite some minor bumps in the road, Brad confessed that he had fallen in love with Clare during the final decision, with the couple unable to wipe the smiles from their faces.

A few months after, Clare relocated from Tamworth to Cootamundra, along with her four horses and two dogs. But a new exciting addition to the family is expected to arrive in December!

Speaking to our sister site New Idea, the couple revealed Clare was in the second trimester of her pregnancy in what she described as a “pretty healthy” pregnancy.

Brenton & Sophie

While Brenton and Sophie had an instant connection on FWAW – with Brenton confessing that he was immediately drawn to her as soon as he saw her application – Sophie announced their split in August 2023.

Prior to their shock split, Sophie relocated from Queensland to Brenton’s sheep and cattle farm in Darriman, VIC.

However, Sophie took to Instagram less than a year within the start of their relationship to reveal they were going their “separate ways.”

“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values,” she wrote.

“I wish Brenton all the best and want to thank everyone for their support, especially my family and friends.”

In the months after filming concluded, Claire and her two dogs are living on Andrew’s farm in Narromine, NSW.

In December, the couple celebrated their first anniversary together with Clare writing: “Happy 1st Anniversary Lover ♥️ The first year of life with you has been my favourite one yet, thanks for showing me what real love is meant to feel like..! ✨”
