Mark your calendars and get out your comfiest couch blanket, because a brand new season of Farmer Wants A Wife is about to kick off.

Five handsome farmers will each meet eight amazing women – so yes, that means we’re about to be introduced to 40 new contestants in total – who are all hoping to find their happily ever after with one of these country gentlemen.

And fans of the show won’t have to wait long to tuck into this wholesome new reality program.

Channel Seven this week revealed that Farmer Wants A Wife will premiere in 2020 on Sunday July 26 at 7pm.

From then on, the show will air two nights a week, on Sundays at 7pm and Mondays at 7.30pm.

Farmer Wants A Wife is one of the world’s most successful reality dating franchises, with more than 99 marriages and 200 children created off the back of the show.

In Australia, it’s also been super successful at creating real, lasting romance, with nine marriages and 19 babies – and another on the way!

So will this year’s crop of farmers and ladies have the same luck at finding true love?
