If anyone knows the meaning of busy, it’s Jimmy Rees.
The children’s entertainer and his wife Tori, who already have a three-year-old son Lenny, welcomed twin boys into the world just last month.
“It’s been a big start to the year,” Jimmy, 31, says with a laugh. “When you’ve got two babies, it’s all hands on deck.”
Despite the juggle and lack of sleep, Jimmy is a real contender on the current series. However, he’s nervous about any impending surprises.
“The trouble will be if the show throws more curve-balls,” he says. “Like, maybe you need to do two dances this week, or you have to learn a dance in 24 hours. It could get a bit hectic!”
And as for what’s harder: DWTS or looking after newborn babies?
“I’d have to say life with a newborn,” Jimmy says.
“When the boys [Mack and Vinny] get going… well, the other night, they were tag-teaming on and off all night long!”
The proud father and his wife shared the arrival of their newborn twins on Instagram in February, with Tori also acknowledging the fertility struggle that she and Jimmy endured.
“I would really like to take this time when I am sharing our families insanely special time to acknowledge the hardships so many families and women are going through in their own fertility journey,” she wrote.
“Jimmy and I had a very personal tough journey that is so important to acknowledge. Those families who are struggling- please stay strong, please don’t give up hope on that family, please get help in whatever way you can, please allow yourself to grieve and please speak up to people who understand- I am so right there for anyone who is going through a fertility journey of their own.
“So much love to everyone. I am feeling so full, so loved up and just so insanely BLESSED in every single possible way.”
