Jake Ellis thought he’d found the love of his life in Megan Marx on Bachelor in Paradise, but the reality star’s world has come crashing down after Megan, 29, walked away from the relationship, which has been on the rocks since late July.
NW has heard that the pair had a falling out at Splendour in the Grass festival, prompting Megan to take some time away from Jake – on a road trip with Bachelorette Elora Murger, who she admitted to having a crush on before hooking up with Jake, 31.
And some think Megan may have rediscovered her feelings for Elora – who’s reportedly been in a previous relationship with a woman.
Paradise is over for Jake and Megan.
Megan expressed she was interested in Elora back in Paradise, and since the series they’ve remained close. In fact, many believe they’re destined to be together.
“Megan will end up with Elora,” wrote one fan on Instagram.
Elora posted a special birthday message for Megan on Instagram saying, “Happy Birthday to one of the most special human I have had the pleasure to meet in the most unconventional way. Could there be a romance on the horizon for Megan and Elora?
“Jake was looking at apartments for himself and Megan to move into together, but they were clearly having problems,” says the source. “He was in love with her, and while he trusted Megan with all his heart, in the back of his mind he was always wondering if he was enough for her.”
Back in happier times, Megan and Jake’s romance was so passionate it landed them in a Perth hospital’s emergency ward in March!
“After the show, the sex got too good,” Megan, 29, told NW of a raunchy night with her man.
“We were in the bathroom, well, you know, then all I heard was a scream, then ‘SNAP!'”
