For those of us back under lockdown, or the rest of us taking necessary precautions and staying home as often as possible, we’ve got a new reality series to help keep us entertained over the next few months.
Before the world went into lockdown in March, the brand new cast of Bachelor in Paradise Australia managed to film the show from the luxurious base in Fiji, securing us some explosive television (not to mention blissful escapism) to look forward to amongst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We were pretty excited to see the first trailers for the show to drop in June, with fans across Australia marking July as the beginning of their next weekly must-watch.
So when exactly does Bachelor in Paradise premiere on Channel Ten? Calendars can be firmly marked with Wednesday, July 15 as the evening to settle in with popcorn and daiquiris, as the first cast mates are revealed at the idyllic mansion.
Moving on from there, you can expect to see the show air on television every Wednesday evening, and if episodes follow the same format as last year, it will play on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings too.
Episodes begin from 7.30pm, lasting between an hour and 90 minutes.
Hot tip: The premiere episode is set to be a 90 minute banger, so you might want to get super comfortable as your park up for the evening.
This year’s cast are set to bring some serious drama to the screen.
Aussie’s newly beloved pals Ciarran Stott and Timm Hanly, both of whom had heartbreaking exits from Angie’s season of The Bachelorette, will no doubt steal the screen.
While the Honey Badger’s famous tied-runner-up Brittany Hockley and Matt Agnew’s heartbroken Abbie Chatfield will also grace Paradise for another shot at love.

If that’s not enough to lure you in, you might be interested to know that Bachie and Paradise OG Keira Maguire is also in it to win it this year, returning to Fiji for a second time (and marking her third Bachie reality stint) after a tumultuous relationship with fellow alumni Jarrod Woodgate.
Bring. It. On.
