They’ve only been engaged for a few months but Tara Pavlovic Sam Cochrane are facing a fierce wave of split speculation.
Over the past few days, fans have gone into meltdown over the state of the Bachelor in Paradise couple’s relationship.
Eagle-eyed social media sleuths have noticed that the reality TV love birds, who became engaged during the show’s grand finale episode, have un-followed each other on Instagram.
While it might not seem like much, this is pretty much the modern-day kiss of death signalling something is amiss.
“I think they’ve broken up – they’ve un-followed each other on Instagram,” one rattled person wrote under one of Tara’s recent pics.
“Wait WHAT?’, ‘My world has literally just fallen apart,” another shocked user chimed in.
“U haven’t posted sam in to [sic] long – don’t leave us hanging for the next 6 months n just tell us.”
Sam and Tara put on an amorous display at a charity event in Sydney earlier in the month.
Nothing to see here! Tara has silenced the split rumours but we still don’t know why they un-followed each other for a brief moment.
On Thursday morning, Tara responded to claims she’d split from her fiance, uploading a loved-up selfie from bed with her engagement ring on full display to her Instagram story.
“Woke up this morning to reports Sam and I are over. But I woke up next to him… weird. Don’t worry peeps, stop stressing, we’re all G,” she penned
They’ve now returned to following each other on the social media platform so perhaps they were just giving each other the digi silent treatment.
It’s not the first time they’ve been rocked by scandal.
Just last month, NW revealed that Sam allegedly had a relationship on pause while he explored things in Paradise and unexpectedly fell head-over-heels in love with Tara.
“The other girl is heartbroken,” a source said, who claimed Sam was seeing a woman for five months before he flew to Fiji for filming of Bachelor in Paradise.
“Sam assured her he was going for the money and TV time – he even admitted himself that he went to Fiji with only a fraction of his heart open – so she was expecting him to come back and pick up where they left off.”
It was only in April that Sam and Tara were on cloud nine after they could finally share news of their engagement with the nation.
“I’m just so happy it’s all out in the open and I can finally celebrate it! It was such an exciting time when it happened, but then we had to stay quiet which was a little bit sad but now we can be proud and happy,” the Gold Coast nanny told us at the time.
“Sam has a lot of amazing qualities. He’s a lot deeper than any other man I’ve met. He’s very in touch with his emotional side, so I was able to travel to a really deep level with him which I haven’t really been able to do with any other guys I’ve met,” she added.
Fingers crossed these two can make it work, we’d love to see another Bachie wedding.
