Hearts shattered when Bachelor in Paradise lovebirds Sam Cochrane and Tara Pavlovic announced their engagement was over on June 30 – just nine weeks after the nation watched the voiceover artist drop to one knee on national TV.
But the tears on Sam’s cheeks are drying fast, thanks to Channel Ten who are offering him the chance to bounce back on The Bachelorette!
According to TV insiders, producers on the series were devastated to learn the golden couple had called it quits and decided to reach out to Sam, 34.
“They told him there’s a spot waiting for him on Ali Oetjen’s season as an intruder if he wants it,” the source reveals. “He never got a chance to see if there was a spark with Ali [in Paradise] because he was head over heels for Tara, but now he has one.”

Whether or not Sam has agreed to sign on remains unconfirmed, especially as NW hears he is completely heartbroken that his relationship with Tara, which started to unravel as far back as early June, is officially over.
“Things started falling apart around the time they travelled to Sydney for the Bachelor in Paradise party,” a source reveals.
“Tara clearly had quite a bit to drink that night and was letting loose. Meanwhile, Sam was on his best behaviour – at one point she looked seriously pissed at him, but he maintained his cool. He’s a good guy, despite what some may think of him.”
Sam is now trying to piece his life back together on the Gold Coast, after moving there from Sydney to be with Tara.
“When he asked Tara to marry him, he truly believed their relationship was forever. He’s devastated,” the source says, adding that fellow Paradise co-stars didn’t believe it was ever going to last.
Sounds like it’s time for a rebound, Sammy.
