Prior to meeting while filming Bachelor In Paradise, Jake Ellis and Florence Moerenhout were already well-acquainted.
“We saw each other a few times and started hooking up,” Florence, 28, reveals to TV WEEK.
“We were having fun, but it didn’t work out. It just kind of fizzled out.”
Although the pair have a history, Florence admits she wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to jump back in with Jake, 31, when filming began.
“I had mixed feelings when I saw him, but from the beginning he put in a lot of effort to get my attention,” she says.
“He obviously wanted to rekindle, so I went with it.”
Jake and Florence look set to reignite their romance.
Meanwhile, Jake reveals to TV WEEK that while still fancies Florence; he will ruffle a few feathers during his time on the reality show.
The season two Bachelorette contestant hints he has fallen for more than one Bachie beauty, admitting both Laurina Fleure and Megan Marx have also caught his eye.
“I’m an affectionate person,” Jake admits. “It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.”
It won’t be long until we see it all unfold. Bachelor In Paradise premieres this Sunday, March 25th at 7:30pm on the TEN and WIN Networks.
