Paddy left a lasting impression last year as he vied for Ali Oetjen’s heart on The Bachelorette Australia.
He almost came to blows with Nathan at the first cocktail party and later became embroiled in his friend Charlie’s ongoing feud with Bill.
Never one to stay clear of drama, the cheeky personal trainer hints to TV WEEK that Bachelor In Paradise will be just as explosive – and that old rivalries will be revisited.
“Bill is good with his words,” Paddy, 28, says of his former co-star. “He’s good at telling people what they want to hear. I don’t think he’s looking for love. I’m 100 per cent wary of him.”
Meanwhile, Paddy reveals the abuse he had to face after his time on The Bachelorette Australia.
“I was getting death threats and people were ringing the gym I work at,” he explains. “But I just laughed at it.
“I’ve overcome bullying, so whatever people say to me, I don’t care. I am who I am, inside and out, and that will never change.”
Did the backlash make Paddy think twice about going on Bachelor In Paradise?
“It was a no-brainer,” he says. “People are always going to judge and I couldn’t care less!”
Bachelor In Paradise airs Tuesday to Thursday, 7:30pm, on Network 10.
