Here’s some news to brighten your day: Bachelor In Paradise Australia is returning to our screens, and we’re itching with excitement.
The official announcement came on Monday via the show’s official social channels, confirming the new season will air in 2019.
The idea of a brand new batch of contestants to vie for each others affection is appealing, not least because of the unsuccessful relationships that eventuated from last season.
Indeed, it’s been a tough few months for BiP fans – crowd favourites Tara Pavlovic and Sam Cochrane announced their split in July, while lovebirds Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate also announced they’d gone their separate ways.
Adding to this, Megan Marx and Jake Ellis recently called it quits after an eight month romance.
Jake took to Instagram to confirm the sad news, writing: “Megan and I are sadly taking a break from our relationship together and words will never express the heartbreak I’m feeling right now.”
Devastation aside, the show gave us plenty of action to look forward to. There were cheating scandals, a surprise proposal and most importantly, Osher in a Hawaiian shirt.
Next season, a new group of contestants are sure to keep us on our toes. We’ve got our eyes on potential contestants already, including some of the more outspoken girls from the current season of The Bachelor Australia.
It’s also safe to assume there’ll be some colourful characters that emerge from Ali Oetjen’s stint on the soon-to-be-aired Bachelorette Australia.
We’re amped to see what’s in store for 2019!
