Australian Survivor is back in 2021 after the coronavirus pandemic forced the show to go on hiatus last year, and we’ve tracked down all the new contestants on Instagram.
This year’s season will focus on the theme of Brains vs. Brawn, with contestants using their wits and intellect or brute strength and endurance to tackle anything Survivor throws at them.

With the show set to premiere in just a few days time, we’ve been getting to know the members of the Brains and Brawn tribes via their social media.
This year’s line-up of contenders includes a diverse mix of people, from pro athletes and professional trainers to psychologists and marine scientists.
There’s also a crochet king in the mix, and his Instagram profile definitely did not disappoint.
Some of the new Survivor hopefuls already have tens of thousands of followers online and have been hard at work promoting the new season.
