Chances are, over the break, you’ll be catching up with friends and family so here’s the perfect dessert for all of your Easter entertaining. Whether you’re in the backyard with the kids running around looking for hidden eggs or sitting down to a more formal meal, this impressive trifle will do the trick.

Packed with fresh, juicy raspberries, chocolate Swiss roll cakes, thick vanilla custard and topped with mini-Easter eggs or Ferrero Rocher chocolates, this flavoursome dessert will go down a treat with all of your guests. And, the best bit is, if you prep the jelly the night before, it’ll only take you 30 minutes to whip up!

You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 2 x 85g packets raspberry-flavoured jelly crystals

  • 500g raspberries

  • 2 x 400g Swiss roll cakes, sliced 1cm thick

  • 60ml hazelnut liqueur

  • 500ml thick vanilla custard

  • 500ml thickened cream

  • Extra raspberries and Ferrero Rocher for decorating
