It’s been six months since she officially confirmed her split with longtime boyfriend Dave Bashford, but if her latest social media posts are anything to go by, Sam Frost may be looking to rekindle their romance.
The actress, who stars as Jasmine on Home and Away, has been hanging out with the defence worker in Melbourne, frequently sharing footage of their cute catch-ups to Instagram.
“Swimming lessons with Greg,” she captioned one clip, which shows her wading into the ocean while holding the dog she shares with the 27-year-old.
In another post uploaded just days earlier, Sam, Greg, Dave and his brother Chris enjoyed a walk around Sydney. “Fun time with my bashy babes ❤️” she wrote.
In a recent interview with TV WEEK, Sam waxed lyrical about her ex of three years.
“Dave’s amazing person and that’s never going to change,” she said. “It wasn’t an ugly or messy break-up. It was just two people who love each other dearly as friends, and we promised to look after each other.”
Speculation the couple were on the rocks began back in July, when the former reality TV star took to Instagram to mock the viral Tiktok ‘couple challenge.’
She added the hashtag “31singleandfabulous” and tellingly, Dave was nowhere to be seen.
Soon after, a representative spoke to Sydney Confidential, sharing a statement that read: “Sam Frost and Dave Bashford are no longer in a relationship. They remain great mates.”
A source told Woman’s Day Sam was going through “a lot” at the time.
“Her career was taking a new path and her mental health was definitely not where it needed to be,” they said.
“When things are good, they’re both very happy, but the lows are bad. They argue over trivial things.”
The blonde bombshell first entered the public eye in 2014 on The Bachelor where she won the heart of love rat Blake Garvey, only to be brutally dumped after the finale for second runner-up Louise Pillidge.
She then went on to become Australia’s first Bachelorette and dated winner Sasha Mielczarek for 18 months before splitting.
