What a little cutie pie!
Tyra Banks‘ baby son, York, is growing up super fast, but thanks to his famous mum we get to see adorable pics of him all the time on Instagram.
The supermodel and her longtime boyfriend, Erik Asla, welcomed their little boy via surrogate in January 2016. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin,” Tyra wrote on Instagram following York’s birth.
“As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world,” she continued.
In a previous interview, Tyra candidly opened up about what it’s been like to be a new working mum. “My secret to balance is to focus on one thing at a time. I used to be the most amazing multitasker, doing three things at once,” she confessed.
“Not anymore, now that I have my son. I think that’s Mother Nature’s way of saying this life you created takes all of your brain power,” she told People.
“Now I’m like, ‘Mummy’s going on a conference call,’ and I give him to his dad,” Tyra added. “My son, as he gets older, he’s getting a lot more clingy so he wants to be held a lot more and be close to Mummy a lot more, so I have to do things fast.”
Though she’s loving new motherhood, Tyra admitted it’s been hard to get so little sleep while caring for baby York!
“Some mornings you wake up, and you’re like, ‘Where am I? I don’t know what’s going on. And I know it’s not a good idea for me to drive right now because I did not sleep,'” she previously said.
“So I balance that and his dad helps, and we go back and forth so that’s good.”
