As we inch closer and closer to the arrival of genetic perfection, George Clooney has hinted that our days of hitting refresh on google could soon come to an end.
The 55-year-old actor spoke about his twins’ impending arrival in a pre-recorded video message while presenting the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity in Yerevan, Armenia.
“I’m sorry that I can’t be with you all tonight in Yerevan, but I can say in all sincerity that I am with you in spirit … I really would have been there, but if I came there and my wife had twins while I was there, I could never come home,” he said to the audience.
We have our eyes peeled and ears pricked!
The much-loved actor recently revealed exactly which baby names wife Amal has nixed for their impending arrival of twins.
He made the remarks while in Las Vegas for CinemaCon on Tuesday, promoting the trailer for his latest film, Suburbicon.
“My wife says I can’t name them Casa and Amigos. That’s the one thing I’m not allowed to do,” he joked in an interview with ET.
The proud parents-to-be were positively beaming at their latest appearance together!
The event, the 42nd César Awards, was the first time Amal proudly showed off her burgeoning baby bump.
It seems as if the Money Monster star had taken inspiration from the same-titled tequila business he co-owns with his business partner and friend Rande Gerber.
He added: “It was just a thought. I mean, you know, it’s a family business.”
In a separate interview with Extra, George explained that Amal, a British-Lebanese human rights lawyer, is progressing well with her pregnancy.
“She is doing really great. She is amazing. I don’t have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff,” he said.
George went on to explain that he’s ready for fatherhood, saying: “I know swaddling, I know what I’m in for.”
It seems the actor is ready for nappies, too! “For me, not for the kids,” he quipped.

In case you missed it, one week after Beyoncé and Jay Z revealed that they’re expecting twins, George and Amal stepped in to prove that genetically unique children are totally on-trend… announcing that they too are expecting twins.
And thanks to the adorably loose lips of George Clooney’s mum, we now know that the stunning duo are expecting a boy AND a girl.
“It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told,” George’s mother, Nina Clooney, recently revealed while speaking with US Vogue.
She added: “How marvellous! My husband and I are extremely excited.”
