The concept of oversharing is just not on Kristen Bellโ€™s radar โ€“ and thatโ€™s precisely why we love the actress. The 37-year-old is famed for her โ€˜TMIโ€™ moments, from recalling on national television the time her kids walked in on their mum and her husband Dax Shepard having sex, to courageously announcing therapy was the key to the coupleโ€™s happy marriage, Kristen is not afraid to speak from experience.

And while it may seem near impossible to top those tales, Kristenโ€™s latest story is her most shocking yet.

In an episode of her new web series on EllenTube called Momsplaining, the mum-of-two is discussing breastfeeding and mastitis and the sometimes uncomfortable situations motherhood finds you in.

Recalling the third time she suffered from mastitis while weaning her baby, Kristen and her husband were in Atlanta and out of reach of a doctor who could prescribe antibiotics.

โ€œSo I said to my husband, โ€˜Iโ€™m going to need you to suck this outโ€™,โ€ Kristen says much to the horror of her guest Scandal actress Katie Lowes who then asked, โ€œdid he do it?โ€

Kristen goes on to explain with great enthusiasm how her actor husband Dax nursed from her breast to drain it of milk.

โ€œHe had a cup next to him, he was pulling out and spitting into this cup, and Iโ€™ve never been more in love in my life,โ€ she concludes with a smile.

Kristen candidly explains the time she breastfed her husband, actor Dax Shepard.

Draining the breast of milk โ€“ as Dax supposedly did โ€“ is the first step in treating mastitis if a woman begins to show early symptoms, says the World Health Organisation.

And while Kristenโ€™s bizarre (yet kind of sweet) tale shows the lengths her husband will go to help ease his wifeโ€™s painful mastitis, recommended treatment of blocked milk ducts is antibiotics, of which the star stressed sheโ€™s not opposed to taking.
