Geri Horner has just welcomed a son with her hubby Christian Horner – and the proud parents are introducing Montague “Monty” George Hector Horner to the world.
Over the weekend, the singer uploaded an adorable photo of her and Christian, 43, cradling baby Monty.
“Monty is two weeks old today,” the 44-year-old lovingly penned on Instagram.
Montague is Geri’s first child with the F1 heavyweight and will join loving siblings Olivia, three, from Christian’s previous relationship with Beverley Allen, and ten-year-old Bluebell, who Geri shares with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
The couple announced Monty’s arrival on Instagram two weeks ago, with the former Spice Girl sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet.
“Christian and I are delighted to announce our baby boy was born this morning weighing 7lbs 8oz,” she wrote.
“Montague George Hector Horner arrived this morning, a beautiful little brother for Bluebell and Olivia #amazing-day #grateful #monty.”
After going public with their romance in March 2014, Geri and Christian announced their engagement in November, 2014, before tying the knot in May the following year.
In October last year, the former Spice Girl announced her pregnancy with an illustration of herself posing as Mama Spice – a nod to the band’s 1996 hit Mama.
Geri has previously admitted what a blessing it was to fall pregnant in her forties.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have conceived naturally at my age, 44. I see it as a miracle. Trust me, I can still moan like the rest them but, equally, I remind myself every day that this is an absolute gift,” she recently told the Sunday Times.
Congratulations to the gorgeous family! We can’t wait to see more pictures of little Monty.
