Today we were gifted an early Christmas present in the form of a Kardashian baby bump. Yes, it’s true, Khloe Kardashian, 33, is expecting her first child to her NBA star boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 26.
The reality star took to Instagram today to finally put a stop to all the speculation with an emotional post announcing her joy alongside a stunning black-and-white photo of the couple’s hands cradling her obvious baby bump.
While the whole Kardashian family remained tight-lipped about Khloe’s pregnancy (older sister Kim even drank a sardine smoothie to avoid responding to the speculation) rumours that a baby was on the way have been circulating for quite some time.
Similarly, it has been widely reported – yet not confirmed – that the youngest Kardashian member, 20-year-old Kylie Jenner, is also pregnant. And although the famous family have gone to lengths to keep the news out of the news, some eagle-eyed fans have spotted clues that, in the case of Khloe’s pregnancy, turned out to be true. Which makes us wonder…if all the hints pointing to Khloe being pregnant were in fact correct, can we apply the same logic to Kylie’s reported pregnancy?

The case of the extra kids’ pajamas:
One of the biggest hints that Khloe was expecting her first child came via momager/family matriarch Kris Jenner. The clearly very excited grandmother of six – Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick, North and Saint West and Dream Kardashian – posted a photo of winter pajamas she was going to gift to: “every one of my grandchildren.”
Immediately, keen Kardashian fans counted nine pairs of kids’ pajamas in the shot, leading to speculation that one pair was for Kim’s daughter who she is having via surrogate; while the last two pairs could be for the babies of ‘pregnant’ Khloe and Kylie. Since Khloe’s announcement today confirmed that she is indeed expecting a baby, that leaves just one pair of unclaimed Christmas PJ’s…
A selfie speaks a thousand words:
It’s no secret the Kardashians love to take photos. It’s also no secret that the fans love to dissect every single angle and item captured in the frame. So when Khloe Kardashian’s sunglasses reflected a full-body pillow on the floor of her bedroom (the exact type used by women during pregnancy) fans were sure she was pregnant – and she was!

Meanwhile, selfie-queen Kylie, who is famed for flaunting her curvy figure on social media, has switched her figure-hugging, mid-riff baring Instagram ensembles for oversized shirts and jumpers, sparking speculation she is hiding something…a bump possibly?
When saying nothing, says everything
When rumours fly and the celebrities at the centre of the fray chose neither to confirm nor deny speculation, it often feels like they might be buying their time until they can announce whatever news they have themselves. This was certainly the case for Khloe’s pregnancy…
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Kim made it through most of the TV host’s “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” game without eating anything nasty, until she opted to sip a sardine smoothie instead of confirming whether her sisters were expecting children.

Similarly, when Keeping Up With The Kardashians producer Ryan Seacrest texted Kris Jenner live on air querying Kylie’s reported pregnancy she immediately responded: “Kylie’s not confirming anything,” Ryan read out.
Is no confirmation actually confirmation?
Of course, we can speculate Kylie’s ‘pregnancy’ until we go blue in the face, but it won’t be until she, like her sister Khloe, decides to speak on the matter that we will know for sure. We just hope it happens soon!
