Jamie Oliver, world famous chef and dad-of-five has confessed that he definitely does not want to expand his family… But wife Jools Oliver has a different thought on the matter.
Dropping by the Fitzy & Wippa radio show on Nova, the 41-year-old admitted he has thought of a vasectomy, but he’s scared of the operation.
And it doesn’t help that Jools wants to even the family out with one more child.
“She did say it was an unlucky, uneven number, which frightened me,” the father-of-five, who is currently in Australia for his restaurant chain, told the duo.
“But I think, you know what, I would go and have the operation if I wasn’t frightened about face time live and how easily pushed over surgeons are in the UK, you know what happened to Michael Jackson,” he joked.
The celebrated Brit can’t quite fathom that he’s a father of five kids.
“It’s disgusting really isn’t it, I don’t know really what happened here, well I do know what happened,” he laughed.
Jamie and Jools tied the knot back in 2000, and are the proud parents to Poppy Honey Rosie, 15, Daisy Boo Pamela, 14, Petal Blossom Rainbow, eight, Buddy Bear Maurice, six and the family’s newest member, nine-month-old son River Rocket.
While Jamie clearly feels like the kitchen is full, Jools spoke out about wanting one more little chef.
“I’ll never really draw the line,” the proud mama told Vogue.
“River’s six months now, so we’re past the really difficult sleepless first few months.”
“He’s such a joy. I’m getting older, but I’d definitely do it again if I could. I think Jamie’s finished, but you just never know!”
If they like, we’d like to put our hands up to join the Oliver family!
