Channel Nine may have brought stars Sylvia Jeffreys and Jayne Azzopardi together as friends but their bond has become unbreakable thanks to both women’s journeys into motherhood.
The work wives and bump buddied have been tackling the ups and downs of motherhood almost simultaneously.
Both mums welcomed their firstborns, both boys, around the same time last year with Sylvia’s son, Oscar, born just days apart from Jayne’s son, Joey.
Now, as Sylvia and Jayne both embark on their second pregnancies, they’re sharing in each special moment, together, again.
Celebrating Sylvia’s last day at work as she embarks on maternity leave, Jayne shared a sweet snap alongside her bestie cradling their bumps.
“It’s SJ’s last day today (for a while) which is why her belly is sooooooo much bigger than mine. 😂 #round2herewecome #boymamas💙” the Weekend Today presenter wrote.
Sylvia shared the same photograph to her Instagram account.
“My last day at work = last chance for a bump comparison with @jayneazzo 🏀 How did we get here so fast? (Hint: 2 x turbo toddlers),” she wrote.

Following both women welcoming boys at the same time last year, Sylvia and Jayne are both expecting baby brothers for their adorable toddlers, Oscar and Joey.
“When you find out you’re getting a best bud for life. Oscar’s little brother due in April next year. We are so lucky. 💫💫💫 @peter_stefanovic,” Sylvia wrote when announcing the news of her second pregnancy in October.
Jayne announced the news of her pregnancy two months later, writing: “Brace for chaos! Anyone with tips on how to cope with two boys under two… send them our way please.”
Birthday boys!
(Instagram)Just last month Jayne, 40, and Sylvia, 34, celebrated Oscar and Joey’s first birthdays, together of course.
Sylvia shared a cute pic to her Instagram story from the pair’s kiddie play date, where they celebrated their son’s birthdays with presents.
“Birthday boys,” Sylvia wrote alongside the gorgeous pic of the two one-year-olds in the park.
