2020 may have been one of the most chaotic chapters in recent memory but as the year finally draws to a close, years 12 students around the nation are gathering to celebrate a rite of passage – their year 12 formal.
Over the weekend, actor Rodger Corser and singer Christine Anu’s daughter Zipporah Corser attended her year 12 formal with her proud loved ones right by her side.
But it was the touching tribute shared by Rodger’s wife and Zipporah’s stepmother, Renae Berry, that made the occasion truly memorable.
Taking to Instagram to praise her stepdaughter, the actress shared a series of photos from Zipporah’s formal alongside Christine as she admitted the pair were two proud mothers.
“Well year 12 formals just got a whole lot more glamorous! Our beautiful @zipporraahh and her bestie looked incredible last night at their final hurrah and her 2 mummas couldn’t have been any prouder 😍😍,” Renae, who shares three children with Rodger, penned.
In the photos, Christine and Renae pose with the 18-year-old, who looked glamorous in a chic black formal gown.
“Love you Nay Nay xxx,” Zipporah commented under her stepmother’s post.

“Last HSC exam for this little lady today,” the 47-year-old penned via Instagram alongside an adorable throwback photo of Zipporah when she was in primary school.
“Well perhaps she hasn’t been little for quite a while,” the TV WEEK Gold Logie nominee admitted in his second pic, which showed his brace-faced daughter as a teenager beaming at the camera.
The 18-year-old finished her final exams earlier in the month.

“Zipporah goes to a performing arts school and sings like her mum [Christine], so she’ll probably go into the business,” Rodger previously told TV WEEK of his eldest child.
Rodger and Christine started dating after starring together in the 1998 musical Rent and welcomed Zipporah in 2002.
Rodger also shares three children with wife Renae, son Budd, 10, daughter Cilla, eight and son Dustin, five.
