Nicole Kidman is one of the most strikingly beautiful women in Hollywood and now we see where she gets it from.
In a sweet tribute to her mum Janelle Kidman to celebrate her birthday, the Oscar winning actress shared a picture of the two and we can’t get over how similar they look.
Nicole’s social media followers were also quick to point out the similarities between the two Kidman women.
“Your mum? Now we know why you turned out so beautiful. Look at her. Stunning,” one person commented.
Another wrote, “You and your mum look so much alike!! Beautiful caring women!”
“Beauty runs in the family!” said another.

The Aussie star also shared a second photo of Janelle in her youth when she was a nurse at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney.
Dressed in her nursing uniform, the black and white photo only reinforced that there are some good genes in the Kidman family.
Nicole has maintained a strong relationship with her mother over the years.
When she attended last year’s AACTA Awards, the Boy Erased star left husband Keith Urban at home and was instead accompanied by her mother and niece, Lucia Hawley.
“Grateful to be going to the AACTA Awards with my mum and niece in Australia. Thank you so much for the nominations for #BoyErased, it means so much,” Nic penned alongside the sweet snap.
The mother daughter duo also took some time in May last year to attend a Broadway play together in New York City last year
The Kidman family have endured a number of personal tragedies in recent years.
Patriarch Dr Antony Kidman suffered a fatal heart attack in Singapore in September 2014, and this was closely followed by the tragic death of Nicole’s former brother-in-law, Angus Hawley, who died in New York just seven months later.
Janelle herself had health issues when she was hospitalised in 2016 with suspected heart problems and endured a series of medical tests in May last year.
On her 78th birthday, Nicole penned an emotional tribute saying, “You’ve loved me, guided me and taught me and I am so blessed to have you.”

When accepting a Variety magazine award in 2013 at the Power of Women luncheon, Nicole talked about the important way her mum helped to shape her beliefs.
“I became involved because I was raised by a feminist mother who planted the seed early in me to speak out against the fact that women are so often treated differently than men,” she stated.
“She was very clear with me: she said stand tall, do not settle for less than what is fair.”
