Lauren Brant and Barry Hall have welcomed their third child together and we couldn’t be happier for the proud new parents.
Lauren gave birth to a little boy, who the couple have named Samson Andy Hall.
With two other children at home, this gorgeous family is now five-strong and the former AFL star and Hi-5 performer are smitten with their new addition.
Taking to Instagram to share the news alongside a stunning photo, Lauren wrote: “Samson Andy Hall 🧡☀️
“Our beautiful baby boy arrived Earth Side 26/10/2021, at 6.18am as a perfect 3.535kg & 51cm bundle. We have been in a complete love bubble of newborn smells, noises, kisses and cuddles.
“Miller & Houston are besotted with their baby brother and our hearts are just SO full.
“Thank you for your well-wishes, love & support while we took some time off the grid…and now be prepared for lots of baby squish on your feed xxxxxxxxxxx.”
Lauren and Barry are already parents to Miller, four and Houston, two.
Lauren and Barry announced they were expecting earlier this year, after revealing they’d married in secret after more than five years together.
The pair tied the knot in February in an intimate ceremony as they wanted to say their “I do”s with Lauren’s terminally ill sister-in-law Sandra there to watch.
Lauren told A Current Affair that it was her dream to have Sandra as her maid of honour – a dream they were able to make a reality.
Heartbreakingly, Sandra passed away from her battle with bowel cancer just two weeks after Lauren and Barry’s wedding.
Writing about her wedding on Instagram after Sandra passed, Lauren said: “In amidst the twilight of heartache, hopelessness and suffering… We found the purest joy, a transformational discovery. February 17, 2021.”
She and Barry found out they were expecting a third son shortly before Sandra passed and were able to share the joyful news with her in hospital.
Lauren shared a clip of the tender moment to Instagram after Sandra passed, revealing her beautiful reaction.
“I told Sandy that I thought I was pregnant and asked if I could do the test in her room with her there,” the mother-of-three explained on Instagram.
“I saw the positive result come up straight away but Sandy was a little confused at how to read it… I just waited for her to catch on, when she did – her famous words were ‘you’re freaking kidding me, it’s been like that for ages!!’ 🤣 “
“She was so happy for us & happy to be an Aunty again, even if it was as an angel. I am so happy I was able to share this moment with her, to have her hand reach out and touch my belly… to give her goosebumps, to witness her excitement for us.”
Though Lauren and Barry were thrilled to be adding another child to their growing family, Lauren confessed they hadn’t been trying to fall pregnant at the time.
Instead the news was a happy surprise for the pair and their families, and Lauren said she was thrilled to have all three of her sons at her wedding – even if one was in her belly.
Lauren and Barry first met on the debut season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015 and while the pair didn’t initially hit off, a romance blossomed after the series wrapped.
