She’s been known to cause chatter for her daring choices, and Kim Kardashian’s latest move is no different.
The mum-of-four has stirred the parenting pot once again after sharing a series of images featuring herself and six-year-old daughter North West.
On first glance, the images themselves appear completely scandal-free as the mum-and-daughter duo are seen pouting and posing for the camera.
But there’s a tiny detail about said pics that had all the makings of a Kardashian-scale controversy… before Kim explained it all, that is.
Indeed if you look closely at the pictures, you’ll notice young North is sporting a new accessory – a nose ring.
But instead of leaving parents to question the move and weigh in their own thoughts on piercings for young children, Kimmy K addressed the chatter immediately to clear things up.
There it is! The sneaky nose ring sported by North West had all the ingredients to spark a bit of controversy.

In bold writing across the top of a picture featuring North alongside her cousins Penelope Disick and True Thompson as well as aunties Khloe and Kourtney, Kim wrote: “Fake nose ring alert!!!”

The 21-year-old beauty mogul shared a snap of herself and boyfriend Travis Scott sharing a rather couply moment beside her luxury car.
She wrote alongside the pic: “partners in crime 4 evaaa💗💦🦋👨👩👧”, which certainly reflected the couple’s loved-up pose.
But there was a little detail in the background of the picture that didn’t sit right with fans – it looked as though Kylie and Travis had parked in a disabled parking spot.
Indeed a blue sign in the background of the shot all but confirms the awkward gaffe.

Another said: “Shame on you guys for parking in a handicapp space. Guess you wouldnt know what its like to be handicapp. Coming from a handicapp person.”
