At 20-years-old, Kylie Jenner is the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and already her life’s resume would span pages. She owns and runs a successful beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics, her influence is so powerful she’s amassed 107 million followers on Instagram, it’s estimated her net worth is $50 million (USD), and possibly her most proud achievement, she became a mother for the first time this year to a baby girl she and her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott named Stormi.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star kept her pregnancy a secret from the world, only confirming what many speculated in a heart-felt 11-minuite long video soon after her daughter’s birth. These days, Kylie has returned to her more candid self sharing snaps of her baby girl and most recently sitting for an interview with her oldest sister Kim Kardashian for ES magazine to discuss her biggest life-change, becoming a mother.

Kylie tells her sister she’s adjusted to life as a mother easily, taking sleepless nights, and ‘the hard times’ all in her stride.
“I feel like it’s just been so amazing, and so much fun. I’m learning so much more about myself and life, and it’s been such a great experience,” she said.
While she admits to feeling ‘the ups and downs’ in the early stages of motherhood, she says what is most difficult for her is when she has to leave her daughter to go to work.
“It was so hard to leave this morning. I’m like, ‘I’ll be right back, I’m so sorry, I have to leave!’ and she doesn’t even know what’s going on. I think about her all the time, anywhere I am. I would rather be with her or wish she can come everywhere,” said Kylie, who is famous for her jet-setting lifestyle.
Kim then asked the question on everyone’s lips, where did Stormi’s name come from, to which Kylie couldn’t even figure out herself, except that it was orginally ‘Storm’.
“I didn’t feel like that was her name,” she says of the inital idea to name her Storm.
“So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck. I feel like there were a lot of other names that I might have even liked better to be honest, but I feel like Stormi picked her own name, like it was just her name.”
“I think about her all the time, anywhere I am.” Kylie is besotted by her daughter Stormi.
While the Kardashian’s would have access to as much help as they could need, Kylie insists she’s a hands-on mum, who is “less selfish” and won’t shirk nappy changing duties.
“I actually enjoy changing diapers. It’s really satisfying. To make her clean again. And I don’t know, the whole thing is really… it’s like such an amazing experience.”
By the sounds of it, Kylie is besotted with daughter and her new role as a mother. We can’t wait to watch little Stormi grow!
