Ask any parent and they’ll tell you the utter speed in which their baby grows is mind-blowing.
One minute, you’re bringing them home from the hospital, the next they’re celebrating their 21st birthday and moving out of home.
Such is the case for Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Yarbrough, whose daughter Harper rung in a huge milestone this week – her first taste of solids!
Proud father-of-four Karl made the touching revelation in his weekly newsletter for the Today Show, explaining his four-month-old bub already has a favourite food.
“On the home front, some big developments this week. Little Harper May has expressed great interest in solid foods,” the presenter explained.

(Image: Getty)“The little one has been eyeing off the avocado smash for some time now and yesterday we finally relented. Awww… our little girl is growing up,” the 46-year-old said.
“If any of you have any advice on the best solid foods for bubs I’m all ears.”
While Karl admitted his youngest was “an absolute joy”, like most babies she’s “just not sleeping the best at night.”

“If you have any advice on sleeping patterns that would be welcome too,” Karl asked.
Karl’s sweet update comes off the back of Jasmine sharing a heart-melting new snap of their bub via her Instagram page.
“Hump Day Vibes! 🌴 #ranchorelaxo,” the 36-year-old penned alongside an adorable photo of blissed-out Harper reclining on the couch.
Karl shares son Jackson, 21, daughter Ava, 14, and son River, 12, with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn and in May this year, welcomed daughter Harper with second wife Jasmine.
