Seven months after welcoming their daughter, model Jesinta Franklin and her AFL star husband, Lance “Buddy” Franklin, are reportedly expecting their second child together.
According to a report in the Daily Telegraph the soon to-be parents of two, who took four years to conceive their daughter Tullulah, are overjoyed at the news and have been telling friends.
“It is exciting news but early days,” a pal told The Daily Telegraph.
“Buddy and Jesinta are very happy,” the insider added.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, are yet to address the speculation however in a recent Instagram post, the model made sure her stomach was covered with her hand as she was getting her makeup done.
Opening up about motherhood recently, the 29-year-old told Body & Soul she was embracing the wild ride.
“The highs are high and the lows are low, but I just love being Tullulah’s mum,” she explained.
“Now that we’ve got the sleep under control, it’s so much more enjoyable. It’s changed my life. There was a point at its worst when I didn’t know what day it was or if I’d had a shower. Also, we were living under AFL protocols for five months, so I didn’t have any family support. Being a new mum is isolating enough without [the added pressure of] a pandemic,” she added.
In July, Jesinta and Buddy, 33, were forced to spend eight weeks apart as the sports star went into the AFL quarantine bubble in Queensland because of COVID-19.
“Laying on the floor of my daughters room. The craziest 24 hours,” the former Miss Universe winner confessed in a raw Instagram video.
She continued: “Not sure when I’ll see my husband next, he’s gone into an AFL quarantine hub for an unspecified amount of time.”
“We already miss you,” she finished.
A huge congrats to Jesinta and Buddy!
