Most Australians would know Gyton Grantley for his acclaimed performance as Carl Williams on the hit series Underbelly, and for his role as the adorable Kane on House Husbands.
But the away from the small screen, the 38-year-old lives a wonderfully normal life with his wife Alex Ortuso and their son Rocco.
And now the Grantley clan have welcomed a new addition to their family, a little baby girl!
In a cheeky Instagram post, Gyton announced the happy news just a few days after both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated the arrival of their royal baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and comedian Amy Schumer also gave birth to a little baby boy.
“Out of respect for @sussexroyal and @amyschumer we decided to hold off on announcing that Rocco has a new baby sister!” Grant wrote.
“Sohi Milan Grantley. Born – 3:34am Thursday Morning 2nd May 2019. Weight – 3.89kg
“Mum is incredible and doing well. Dad is expanding his vocabulary with words like ‘princess’ ‘little lady’ and ‘snow pea’.”
And if you’re wondering about that gorgeous, unusual baby name, it’s pronounced “so-he” and is a Japanese name.

Gyton and Alex were married in a gorgeous low-key ceremony in Byron Bay in April 2016, when Alex was 17 weeks pregnant with the couple’s first child.
They had actually officially tied the knot three months earlier at a registry office, so the ceremony in Byron was the second time the pair had said “I do”.
Gyton’s House Husbands co-star Julia Morris was the celebrant at their second nuptials, held at the stunning Elements of Byron Resort & Spa.
“We had a small ceremony in Melbourne, so this second wedding was about sharing it with all our friends and family,” Gyton told Woman’s Day at the time.
Gyton regularly shares adorable updates about his family life with his Instagram followers, but it was one particular post dedicated to Alex that really hit us in the feels.
“Seven or so years ago I was very lucky to meet [Alex] and fall in love,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a gorgeous photo of his pregnant wife.
“Since then she has been my rock. The last five months have been tough. Rehearsing Harry Potter [Gyton played Ron Weasley in the Melbourne theatre production], while an incredible experience, put a huge strain on our little family.
“This wonder woman was left virtually on her own. Caring for our two year old son, running the house, counselling her stressed husband all while growing a little human. So much love and appreciation to you my heart. And all the partners of our company, it’s been an epic stretch. We couldn’t have done it with out you! Xxx.”
Too cute!
