Can you believe Kylie Minogue is 51 years old? Nope, neither can we!
And to celebrate the big day, the pop princess’s little sister Dannii Minogue shared an eighties-tastic throwback of the two of them and there was one detail that fans went crazy for.
Taking to Instagram, songstress Dannii, 47, shared a sweet snap of herself and her sister from their childhood/Young Talent Time years in Melbourne.
“Happy Birthday to my big sister 🥳 Now for a new year of fun and festivities. Love from Sister Disco xx,” she captioned the pic.
Fans were quick to comment with their own birthday wishes to the Spinning Around singer and many acknowledged Kylie and Dannii’s roller-skates and frisbee included in the picture.
“What Aussie kid didnt live in roller skates in the 80’s. So great. Happy Birthday @kylieminogue!” one follower commented.
“You can’t get more 80s than this! Roller skates and a frisbee! Love this to distraction!” added another.
And of course the birthday girl herself replied sweetly with, “💖❤️💖Always!!!”
The Minogue sisters have always shared a close bond both professionally and personally.
Speaking to TheFIX in 2017, Dannii revealed, “My sister’s always been incredible. [She’s] always a tower of strength, and very classy with how she handles everything.
“My sister is my go-to for advice. And always when I look at her, she’s physically a tiny little thing, and you just think ‘Where does all this strength come from?'”

Dannii may be close with her sister, but the same can’t be said for her relationship with her former mother-in-law, Lady Sonia McMahon, the mother of her ex-husband, Julian McMahon.
Speaking to Anh Do on his show Anh’s Brush with Fame, Dannii admitted Sonia, who was the wife of former Prime Minister William McMahon, wasn’t a fan of her.
“His family did not like me. There’s a certain social pecking order and I was definitely not in that scene. She [Sonia] only spoke to me a couple of times,” Dannii revealed.
“She would not let me go to the family house. Sometimes [Julian] had to go and collect something and I was waiting in the car out the front. It was as if I’d done something wrong to the family but I hadn’t done anything wrong.”
