Popular Australian blogger Constance Hall has welcomed her fifth child, a healthy baby boy on Monday afternoon. The Perth-based mum and her husband, Denim Cooke announced the arrival of their little bub they named, Raja Wolf Cooke-Hall, with posts on social media.
“Raja. Born at 2.46pm 38 weeks 4.2kgs. We couldn’t have dreamt a more perfect baby,” the 32-year-old mum wrote alongside a picture of her breastfeeding her newborn.
“Love you so much Denzy. We are blown away with support from you all.”
The name Raja is a Sanskrit baby name. In Sanskrit the meaning of the name Raja is ‘king’.
The doting dad, who is the father of two children from a previous relationship, also posted about his joy on social media.
“Raja Wolf Cooke-Hall was born today at 2.46pm. At 9lb 5oz and 56cm tall he is perfect in every way,” Denim wrote.
“Con is sitting up in bed breastfeeding him at the moment and I couldn’t be prouder of her strength and bravery and throughout this entire pregnancy.”
“Raja is absolutely adorable and feeding already and about to nap. He has barely cried and seems really content. Fingers crossed he remains chill. Thank you for all the well wishes and thank you to my beautiful wife for this amazing gift … you are a warrior woman and this child unites our crazy clan. I feel so lucky I could jump over the moon. Oceanz [sic] of love to you all.”
With the addition of baby Raja, Constance and Denim’s family has grown to include seven children and two dogs.
Denim has two sons Zeyke and Sunny from a previous relationship, while Constance has Rumi, Snow, Arlo Love and daughter Billie-Violet from her previous six-year marriage to Bill Maher.
Constance and Denim tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony earlier this year.
Earlier this month, Constance revealed her decision to deliver her baby via a C-section after her last vaginal birth took a painful five months to heal.
“I’ve decided against a Vbac [vaginal birth after delivery],” she penned.
“I read some terribly sad stories and incredibly empowering ones, the decision came down a couple of factors, mainly body damage. My worst Vag delivery took five months to heal from, my C-section took three weeks,” she candidly explained.
“I’m not justifying my decision, in 2018 Queen make decisions about their bodies, no justification needed. But this one took a lot of back and forth.”
“So when I heard him tell me that he’d prefer I had a C-section I fell a little more in love with him. It’s my decision, but his opinion counts.”
Constance hinted that Raja will be her last pregnancy, when she posted her “last ever baby bump photo” on Instagram on arrival to the hospital.
We send our massive congratulations to the young family!
