Chrissy Teigen’s latest posts from a family holiday in Bali show that despite their glorious fortune, she and John Legend are really just like the rest of us, even their bodies.
The former Sports Illustrated model, who recently welcomed baby number two, Miles with husband, musician John Legend tweeted a video showing her stretch marks and honouring her self-proclaimed “mum bod.”
“I guess these just aren’t going to go away,” Teigen can be heard saying in the clip.
Keeping things real, as she does, the mega-star wanted to remind her followers that not everyone has those “killer bodies” immediately after pregnancy.
She later revealed that her sharing didn’t mean she didn’t care about how she looked, writing: “also I don’t really call this “body confidence” because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”
It’s not the first time Chrissy Teigen’s shared her body realness either, previously sharing her stretch marks to prove that even celebs wear the scars of life.
There are certain celebs who give great social media – Ashton Kutcher, Zoe Foster-Blake, Jimmy Fallon, Bec Judd … and then there’s Chrissy Teigen.
She breaks the scroll of carefully curated content with her brutally honest and always hilarious insight into her life as a model, mum, Lip Sync Battle host and wife. Ups, downs and everything in between get shared on her Instagram and Twitter accounts and we love every minute of it.
Soon after having baby Miles, she shared an all-too-real Instagram photo of herself sporting postpartum mesh hospital underwear.
Teigen’s 19 million followers adore her honesty, and so do we.
And if the haters think they can get under her skin, they may as well give up, Teigen is way ahead of them.
