Aussie heartthrob, Chris Hemsworth and his wife of eight years, actress Elsa Pataky have the kind of relationship that most of us dream about. Mutual love and respect, a home in paradise and three gorgeous kids … but it’s not all sunshine and muscles.
42-year-old Pataky spoke with a local publication this week, admitting there’s something about her parenting style that makes her 35-year-old husband feel “really embarrassed.”

According to the Tidelands star, her husband can not stand when she tells off the couple’s three children in public.
For laid back Hemsworth and his Spanish wife, a cultural difference means the pair take different approaches when it comes to disciplining their kids – daughter, six-year-old India Rose and four-year old twin sons, Tristan and Sasha while out and about.
“Everybody here, when they tell off their kids, they’re like (mimics whispering), but we are totally opposite,” explains Pataky.
“We are loud and sometimes Chris gets really embarrassed. He’s like, ‘Stop it, everyone’s looking at us’.”

Even Thor’s kids need to pulled into line every now and then, and that might be because they have no idea who their dad actually is!
While in Sydney promoting her newest TV series, Netflix’ Tidelands, Elsa revealed that there is a lot of confusion in their house hold when it comes to her husband Chris – especially now they’ve seen his movies.
“My kids still don’t [know]…like Thor and Papa…,” she told Woman’s Day.
“Like who is who? I can call him Thor but he’s not! He doesn’t go with the hammer all the time!”
Pataky, of course, is referring to her husband’s epic Marvel character – who he has played since his children were born.

With busy filming schedules for both mum and dad, the family have been spending the week enjoying a luxury holiday in Thailand together.
Sporting a red polka-dot bikini, Pataky revealed just why he body is such an inspiration to fitness fans across the world in some beautiful images shared to her Instagram account during their stay at the Soneva Resort on the Thai island of Ko Kut.
