It’s a parent’s worst nightmare when one of their children ends up in hospital, and celeb parents are no exception.

Chris Hemsworth and his gorgeous wife Elsa Pataky ended up in the emergency room over the weekend when one of their twin sons, four, was rushed to hospital.

While the cause of the visit was unknown, Elsa took to her Instagram page to share a pic of her husband and son, wearing a (mini) cast on his arm.

While the photo itself was cute enough, it was the caption that all parents around the world could relate to.

“Nobody tells you how much it hurts when your kids get hurt,” she wrote, while adding the hashtags: #comingoutofhospital’, #bravelikedaddy and #don’tlookatme.

The family-of-five were spotted last week, walking around Byron Bay with the injured son-in-tow, assuming that whatever cause him to break his little wing took place then.

While we never get to see their beautiful faces, Elsa and Chris often share fun videos and pictures of their kids, India Rose, Sasha and Tristan on Instagram.

And it’s these incredibly down-to-earth parenting moments that make us swoon!

Back in August, Chris shared a birthday pic with the caption:

“Immediately after this shot was taken my son viciously attacked me from behind (due to his ninja training) and slammed my face into the flaming candles,” he wrote. “I’ll now be playing Deadpool if @vancityreynolds (Ryan Reynolds) pulls the pin.”

At the time, Elsa also shared a hilarious birthday message, proving she has not-three, but four kids in her household.

“Happy birthday to my biggest child!” she wrote alongside a snap of the pair pulling silly faces.

While we love keeping up with the Hemsworths – Chris revealed in an interview earlier on in the year, that is actually his parents who keep him grounded, something he know doubt passes on to his kids.

“My goal has been not to become a d … head,” he said.

“I promise I won’t become a d … head — that’s what I have to say to my parents,” he continued.

“I think you’re either a d … head or you’re not a d … head, fame just amplifies that.”
