Home And Away actor Cameron Daddo and his wife Alison have always been open about the ups and down their relationship has faced over the almost 30 years they’ve been married.
They’ve survived infidelity, bankruptcy and living abroad, and produced three beautiful children along the way – daughters Lotus, 24, and Bodhi, 14, and son River, 20.
And now Cameron, 55, has shared a gorgeous new throwback photo of his wife and their eldest daughter, while she was pregnant with the couple’s second child.
On Thursday morning, he posted this cute photo of Alison, who was pregnant with Bodhi at the time, and their daughter Lotus, alongside a searingly honest reflection about his colourful life.
“#tbt our young family growing up in Los Angeles,” Cameron captioned the photo.
“Good times, sh-t times and everything in between. It’s now all a story that fuels today. ✌️❤️ may you have a good’n!”
The post clearly resonated with Cameron’s fans, who commented on the post with their own reflections.
“Mountains and valley of life 👍,” one fan wrote, while another said, “I love seeing marriages survive the ups and downs. It’s what it’s all about.”

Cameron and Alison were considered the ultimate Aussie It Couple back in the 90s.
Their whirlwind romance began following their first fateful encounter, when they locked eyes on an escalator in a shopping centre in 1991.
Both up-and-coming stars at the time, the pair knew exactly who the other person was and the spark was instant. Eventually, they were set up through a mutual friend and the rest as they say, was history!
Cameron popped the question after just three months of dating and they tied the knot in 1992.
“He was just very easygoing, very charming, very goofy. Like, he had stupid dad jokes before he even became a dad. I kind of felt like he was the one for me before I met him,” Alison, 50, has reflected of her husband.
Shortly after tying the knot, they relocated to LA so Cameron could pursue his acting career. The gruelling nature of the entertainment industry meant that at times, money would be very tight.
“It got very tense for a while on several occasions. Then something would open up and suddenly you forget there was a moment where we had $100 in the bank because now we’re doing okay,” the father-of-three told the No Filter podcast in 2017.
Despite their seemingly picture-perfect life, the A-list couple have faced their fair share of struggles over the years.
In early 2019, Cameron revealed he was unfaithful to his wife when he was working in the US early on in his career in 1994.
“I was the one who left the marriage,” the Aussie actor said, revealing when it came to overcoming his transgressions, “honesty was the best policy”.

The pair sought marriage counselling and were able to repair their relationship.
As for how they keep the spark alive, Cameron says he’s all about loving gestures.
“I find it very sexy – when someone asks you a question and listens, and actually pays attention,” he said.
Wise words to live by!
