2015 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Brendan Fevola’s has confirmed his family empire is expanding, with the exciting news he’s expecting his fourth child with fiancee Alex Fevola.
The retired AFL champ confirmed the new addition on his radio show Fifi, Fev and Byron on Fox FM.
“Something that didn’t come on time was that time of the month, guys… the Fevola family is going to become six. We’re having a baby,” he said.
Opening up about the pregnancy, the 37-year-old admitted it caught him off-guard.
“It all happened when we went to America over Easter. Alex was really sick over in America and she thought she was jetlagged. I didn’t think anything of it.”
“[I said] have a drink, you’ll be right. She said no I actually feel really sick.”
“Anyway, I didn’t think anything of it, you know, ’cause we got an 18 [year old]… we’ve got a 12-year-old and we have an eight-year-old. So we’d shut up shop, I didn’t think it worked anymore, that it was all done and dusted.”
“Then we got back on the Tuesday morning, and I was sitting on the couch watching the basketball, and Alex came in and sat down, and she had that look that I’d done something wrong. I was like, ‘Oh, no.’ She showed me the stick and said, ‘We’re having a baby.’ I just couldn’t stop laughing! Alex cried,” Brendan laughed as he remembered the surreal moment.
“You nearly cried too,” Alex pointed out.
The couple, who are due to remarry this year, also revealed they’re expecting another daughter.
In a sweet touch, Brendan, Alex and their three daughters revealed the bub’s gender by popping an oversized balloon which let out pink confetti.
Brendan and Alex, 41, are already the proud parents to Leni and Lulu, while Brendan is the stepfather to Mia from Alex’s previous relationship.
The on-off couple first tied the knot in 2005 before they sadly separated just 14 months later amid claims of Brendan’s infidelity with model Lara Bingle.
Alex and Brendan’s divorce was finalised in 2014 however after working through their issues, Alex dropped a knee for a second time in 2016.
A huge congrats – they’ve got another adorable flower girl for their big day on the way!
