In every parent’s life, it would be safe to say one of the most memorable moments is hearing your baby speak their first words.
And actually, it could even be safe to say that it’s memorable to hear any baby speak it’s first words – because Brendan Fevola’s latest post to Instagram of his baby girl uttering her first one-liner has us riveted… and welling up in the process.
In a gorgeous post to his 216,000-strong following, the proud dad has shared a video that has made thousands of hearts melt as his young daughter Tobi, who is just six months old, is encouraged to say her first word, and it’s utterly perfect.
Alongside the adorable video, the AFL legend wrote: “Tobi saying her first words Dad Daaa.”
He continued: “Concentration on her face is the best and then how rapt she is with herself.”

The video, which has already racked up thousands of views, has enamoured his fans, with many sharing their elation.
“That is priceless.. bought tears to my eyes,” wrote one.

The dad-of-four often shares sweet tributes to his family on Instagram, occasionally posting rare candid snaps with each of his daughters.
Recently, Fevola posted a picture with his entire family of six, proving just how big this family has grown.
Captioning the snap with the line: “Family vacation all about to ride the Light Rail”, the Fevola clan certainly pack a lot of punch these days!

In November, the newest member – little Tobi – was debuted to the world in a sweet picture shared by Fifi, Fev and Byron’s official Instagram account after the excited new dad called his radio co-hosts to share the happy news.
“She has a huge head of hair. You should see how much hair she’s got, it’s amazing,” Fev gushed on the phone to his co-hosts.
“She looks like me a bit, wish she had got Alex’s genes but she’s super cute. She’s a little mini me with her fat cheeks!”
The retired footy star also shared an adorable snap of his youngest child all wrapped up in her blanket at the hospital and gazing up at the camera.
“Hi World …. @alexfevolamakeup your a super human mumma ❤️ mum and baby are flying #love #family #daughters #itsagirlsworld,” he wrote.

In April, Brendan’s fiancee Alex Fevola spoke to Now To Love about allowing her daughters to wear makeup – an important subject given Alex is a makeup and beauty guru herself.
“Girls do develop at different stages, and some girls might feel ready at 13 or 14, especially if they have bad skin – it might give them some confidence,” she explained.
“Whereas other girls at that age might be way too young.”
Alex revealed that Brendan tended to agree.
“As most guys seem to – [Brendan] prefers a natural look,” she explained.
“He’s not a fan of really heavy makeup. Neither am I though.”
Makeup or no makeup – it’s clear this family are pretty darn adorable!
