There’s a Home And Away and Neighbours baby on the way as former stars Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor announce they’re expecting.
The Aussie actors, who got their starts on the respective soaps, revealed their little family will be welcoming a new addition in 2022 on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram, the couple announced their happy news with a photo of their feet in matching slippers that read “Papa Bear” and “Mama Bear”, with a tiny set of “Baby Bear” booties to the side.
“Gearing up for the greatest roles ever. Big little shoes to fill and we cannot wait!” Bob captioned the snap.
Eliza added on her own profile: “Our journey to pregnancy was not always smooth sailing but we are elated to announce our little bundle is officially on the way 🥳💕”
Friends and fans flooded the parents-to-be with congratulations, but some eagle-eyed Instagram users noticed a bittersweet detail in Eliza’s announcement.
She mentioned their journey to pregnancy wasn’t “smooth sailing”, alluding to the miscarriage she suffered in 2019.
Speaking at a convention in Vancouver in February 2020, Bob and Eliza revealed they had lost a pregnancy shortly after they married the previous year.

Bob also revealed that he had gotten a tattoo in memory of his and Eliza’s unborn child.
Now the pair couldn’t be happier to finally announce that they’re expecting again, though chose not to reveal how far along the pregnancy is.
Though the couple started out as Aussie soap actors – Bob on Home And Away, Eliza on Neighbours – they both found fame abroad after leaving the shows.
They worked in the same circles for a short time, but it wasn’t until they were both cast on the CW sci-fi drama The 100 that the couple met and fell in love – as did their characters.
The couple couldn’t be happier to be expectant parents.

“I am so very proud of my husband, his courage, his vulnerability, and his determination… (I won the life lottery with this man!)” Eliza wrote on Instagram weeks after their wedding.
“So… as he would put it, so eloquently, as always – be well and be kind to one another – it’s the most important thing in the world ❤️”
Bob is currently starring in the Binge series Love Me, but we have a feeling he’ll be loving fatherhood even more than his many acting highlights.
