Yes, it’s time to break out the baby bunting and whack on your khakis because this sweet couple deserve all the celebrations and happiness as possible as they begin a new chapter as parents.

The pair announced the exciting news on Friday with an adorable Instagram post of the newborn – a baby girl.

“March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter. ❤️ Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.” Bindi wrote.

“Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior.

“Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”

This marks the beginning of a new phase for the two Wildlife Warriors – and it’s been clear from the beginning how excited they are to expand their brood.

“One day it would be special to have my own little wildlife warriors,” Bindi, previously said in an interview.

“When it does happen, I can guarantee you they’ll have their own khaki because khaki is not just a colour, it’s an attitude.”

Looks like this newborn baby girl already has its wardrobe sorted then.

Bindi and Chandler are ecstatic as they embark on their new parenting chapter.

Throughout her pregnancy, Bindi shared frequent updates about the size of her growing bub, comparing it to whichever animal it best matched in scale.

At 26 weeks, Bindi told her followers: “Thank you for your lovely comments and support on this remarkable journey. Now that I’m 26 weeks pregnant, our daughter is about the same size as a shingleback lizard.”

Previously, she’d said at the time that her baby was the size of a mountain pygmy-possum.

Very on-brand from her!

Bindi, 22, and Chandler, 24, were married in a swift ceremony in March 2020, shortly before Australia went into its first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pair held a small ceremony at Australia Zoo, with Bindi speaking about her late father, Steve at the reception.

“I think it’s really special that he’s always with us and he walks beside us with everything that we do,” she said at the wedding, with Chandler adding that Steve brought the two together in a sense.

“He was my hero growing up and it means the world that he’s always here with us,” the groom said.
